Rocks of Gypsy

I want cake.

So I walked into my boss' office today, and boldly proclaimed, "I want cake!" And out of nowhere, like manna from heaven, she spontaneously produced a piece of chocolate cake and handed to me. Never in a million years would I have expected her to happen to have cake, so I stood there for a moment, stunned for a moment, finally saying, "...alright then. Well done. Thank you." I was very pleased with myself in this, until I realized that I should have used the one wish I never knew I had to make to ask for a raise. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
